Questions about hiring a pool contractor in Freeport

How many pool contractors are in Freeport?

There are 3 pool contractors listed for Freeport. Together they have 418 Google reviews and an average rating of 4.5. Another 6 are listed in cities within about 15 miles.

Which pool services are most common in Freeport?

The most common services on listings here are pool repair (3 of 3), new pool construction (2 of 3), pool remodeling (2 of 3) and spas and hot tubs (2 of 3).

Do any pool companies in Freeport offer financing?

Yes. Financing is mentioned on 2 of the 3 websites we read: Blue Haven Pools & Spas and Emerald Coast Pools. Terms and lenders vary, so get the details in writing.

How should I compare pool quotes in Freeport?

Ask each company to quote the same pool: size and shape, interior finish, decking, equipment, lighting and any screen enclosure work. Check who pulls the permits, how payments are scheduled and what each warranty covers. A lower price that leaves out the deck or the electrical work is not really lower.

What should I ask Freeport pool contractors about licensing?

Florida generally requires a state-licensed pool/spa contractor to build or remodel a pool, and certified pool/spa license numbers start with CPC. Look up any number on myfloridalicense.com, the state's DBPR site. Cleaning-only companies are not always licensed contractors, which is fine for weekly service but not for structural, plumbing or electrical work. Licensing is mentioned on 1 of the 3 websites we read for Freeport, and 1 shows a license number (with the CPC prefix).
