Questions about hiring a pool contractor in Hernando

How many pool contractors are in Hernando?

This directory lists 3 pool contractors for Hernando, all with at least one Google review. They average 4.2 out of 5 across 87 reviews. Another 16 are listed in cities within about 15 miles.

Which pool services are most common in Hernando?

The most common services on listings here are new pool construction (2 of 3), resurfacing and plaster (1 of 3), pool repair (1 of 3) and pool decks and pavers (1 of 3).

Do any pool companies in Hernando offer financing?

Yes. Killer Pools, LLC mentions financing on its website. Terms and lenders vary, so get the details in writing.

How should I compare pool quotes in Hernando?

Ask each company to quote the same pool: size and shape, interior finish, decking, equipment, lighting and any screen enclosure work. Check who pulls the permits, how payments are scheduled and what each warranty covers. A lower price that leaves out the deck or the electrical work is not really lower.

What should I ask Hernando pool contractors about licensing?

Florida generally requires a state-licensed pool/spa contractor to build or remodel a pool, and certified pool/spa license numbers start with CPC. Look up any number on myfloridalicense.com, the state's DBPR site. Cleaning-only companies are not always licensed contractors, which is fine for weekly service but not for structural, plumbing or electrical work. No website we read for Hernando mentions licensing, so ask each company for its license number.
